- 1). Use the string as a guide for how long to cut your wire. Drape the string around your wrist for a bracelet or your neck for a necklace. Cut the string when it is to the length you want.
- 2). Measure the string and add 10 inches. Cut your wire to this measurement using the wire cutters.
- 3). Fold the wire in half to find the midpoint. Mark the midpoint with the black marker.
- 4). Place the crimp bead 4 inches from one of the ends of the wire. Use the crimping tool to crimp the bead and secure it in place.
- 5). Lay out a cloth on your flat surface. Spread out your beads on the cloth, which keeps them from getting away from you.
- 6). Use the point of the wire to pick up the seed beads in the order you want for your necklace or bracelet. Use the marker notation as a guide if you want to add a larger ornament to the middle of the jewelry piece.
- 7). Keep adding the seed beads until you have about 4 inches left on the end of the wire. Add the clasp halves to either end of the wire and use the crimping tool to secure them in place if necessary.
- 8). Trim the excess ends of wire using wire cutters.
