- 1). Put one tablespoon of borax laundry booster into one cup of warm water. Mix the solution until all the borax is dissolved. You will find the borax on the same aisle as the laundry detergents in discount or grocery stores.
- 2). Mix one-quarter cups each of water and white glue in a plastic cup or bowl. Stir the mixture well.
- 3). Add three or four drops of glow-in-the-dark paint to your water and glue mixture. You can find this at discount or craft and hobby stores. Stir the mixture.
- 4). The Activity Village website recommends combining equal parts of the glue, paint and water mixture and the borax and water mixture in a zipper style plastic bag.
- 5). Knead the plastic bag well. Open the bag and check to see how your slime feels. If it is sticky, add a little more of the borax mixture and knead again. If the mixture is too slippery, add a bit more of the white glue-water mixture in small amounts and knead until it is the right texture.
