- 1). Remove the glass from the frame.
- 2). Cut two strips of wallpaper the same length as the frame. Cut two strips of wallpaper the same width as the frame. Fold the strips in half and cut with the scissors along the fold. Discard one half of each strip.
- 3). Trim the edges of the wallpaper strips with the scissors so they are straight.
- 4). Apply school glue with a sponge craft brush to the backsides of the strips, and glue them onto the center of the front of each frame side, top and bottom. There will be a strip of frame on each side of each glued on wallpaper strip so that the wallpaper is a "line" around the frame.
- 5). Press firmly, and smooth the wrinkles and air bubbles from the wallpaper strips by pressing from the center of the strip to the outside edges. Allow the glue to dry.
- 6). Place frame on newspapers in a well-ventilated area, and cover with clear spray paint. Allow the paint to dry. Put the glass back into the frame.
- 1). Remove the glass from the frame. Place the frame on a protected surface.
- 2). Pour liquid starch into a bowl.
- 3). Cut the fabric into four strips two inches wider and longer than each side of the frame. The fabric will completely cover the frame.
- 4). Place one strip of fabric into the liquid starch until completely saturated.
- 5). Lay the wet strip of fabric onto the front of the frame, and smooth it against the wood, folding the edges under the frame and through the photo opening. Use scissors to cut the fabric so that it will fold under smoothly and flat.
- 6). Repeat with all four strips until the front of the frame is completely covered with wet fabric. Allow it to dry.
- 7). Place the frames on newspapers in a well-ventilated area, and cover with clear spray paint. Allow the paint to dry. Put the glass back into the frame.
