- 1). Cut four coupons (8 ½ inches by 2.75 inches) from a piece of paper, using scissors. Do the same with four more sheets of paper to make 20 coupons.
- 2). Write one gift idea on each coupon with a pen or marker. For example, coupons might say, "Get out of a bath free," "Your favorite pizza" or "Watch television for an extra hour tonight."
- 3). Personalize each coupon with hand-drawn pictures or by gluing on cutouts from magazines.
- 4). Trace one of the coupons on construction paper to make a cover, and cut the cover out with scissors.
- 5). Write the words "Coupon Book" and your child's name on the front with a marker to make it different from the coupons.
- 6). Stack the coupons, add the cover on top, and place a staple in the upper left corner of the coupon book to bind it, or place two staples along the left edge.
