- 1). Launch the Windows Media Center application on your PC computer.
- 2). Go to the "Tasks" section of the main menu in Windows Media Center.
- 3). Click on "Settings." Go to the "General" section, and then select "Windows Media Center Setup."
- 4). Click on the button labeled "Configure Your TV or Monitor."
- 5). Select the type of monitor that you are using to try to play video, and then click "Next."
- 6). Choose the type of video cable that you are currently using to connect your computer to your monitor, and then press "Next" again.
- 7). Choose the "Finish this wizard" option. Click "Next" to complete the setup process. Both sound and video should now work properly in Windows Media Center 2005.
