- 1). Turn the computer on. Wait for the boot logo of the BIOS supplier to be displayed. This logo will indicate what type of motherboard the computer has.
- 2). Press the key that brings up the BIOS. This key should be displayed on the screen with a message "Press XYZ to access BIOS." Each motherboard brand is different and requires a unique key to be pressed to access the BIOS. Press this key when the boot logo is displayed.
- 3). Make changes to the BIOS. Once the correct key is pressed, the computer will instantly load the BIOS screen. The BIOS screen will display a list of keyboard shortcuts that help the user navigate the BIOS.
