- 1). Turn on your computer and click on "Start" on your desktop.
- 2). Go to "Control Panel," and then select "Programs" from the Control Panel window.
- 3). Click on "Programs and Features." This will open up the list of all programs installed on your computer. Scroll down the list, which is in alphabetical order, and highlight "LimeWire."
- 4). Go back to the top of the program list and click "Uninstall." The LimeWire uninstall wizard will pop up in a second window and walk you through the uninstall process. On the first screen you need to click "Next" to continue. When you click "Next" you will be asked if you want to also remove your LimeWire share settings, passwords and customizations. Click the box next to this option and click "Uninstall."
- 5). Click "Finish" once the uninstall is complete.
