- 1). Click "Start," "Programs," "Accessories," "System Tools" and "System Restore."
- 2). Click "Restore my computer."
- 3). Click a date prior to the installation of Service Pack 3.
- 4). Click "Next" to undo the error and restore the Windows Update service.
