- 1). Put the disc of the operating system that you want to load onto the Vmware into your computer's optical drive. Go to your computer's desktop and click on the "Vmware Player" icon.
- 2). Wait for the Vmware Player to open and then click on the virtual machine that you want to boot. Click on the "Edit virtual machine settings" option from the menu.
- 3). Click on the "CD/DVD" option from the "Device List" on the left side of the software window. Click on the "Use Physical Drive' button and then click the "OK" button.
- 4). Click on the "Play Virtual Machine" option to start the virtual machine. Press the "Esc" button when prompted to get into the boot menu. Choose the "CD-ROM" drive from the menu and wait for the virtual machine to boot the operating system.
