- 1). Apply white face paint with a makeup sponge from the bottom of the nose down to the chin in a rounded pattern. Paint the lips white as well, if the wearer is reliable enough to not lick her lips while wearing the paint. For children, it is best to leave the lips unpainted. Paint white circles around the eyes as well.
- 2). Apply brown paint to the bridge of the nose and out from the nose to the edge of the eyes. Fill in the outside edges of the cheeks and the forehead with the yellow paint.
- 3). Draw a black line with the small makeup brush down the crease in the top lip. Draw a second black line across the top of the lip at the base of the nose. Draw a line from the corners of the lip around to the cross at the base of the nose to make the lion's mouth. Draw a line from the base of the lip around the bottom of the chin and smudge the line with the sponge to complete the lion's mouth.
- 4). Apply black paint to the tip of the nose. Smudge black paint around the outside edges of the face to make the lion's mane.
