- 1). Cut out a rectangle from the quilt using scissors to measure 24 inches wide, 60 inches long.
- 2). Fold the rectangle in half with the right sides together, bringing the two shorter sides together to touch. Position the rectangle vertically onto a table top with the folded short end facing down. Pin along the right and left edges with straight pins, leaving a 1/2 inch seam allowance.
- 3). Sew along the pinned edges using a sewing machine, then remove the straight pins.
- 4). Roll the top, opened edges over by 1 inch, then roll it over again by 3 inches. Pinned around the entire folded edge using straight pins, leaving a 1/2 inch seam allowance.
- 5). Sew around the pinned edge using thread and a sewing needle, then remove the straight pins. Turn the quilted pillowcase right side out for use.
