- 1). Cut off the top of the pumpkin at a 45-degree angle so that you can replace the top without it falling inside the pumpkin. Scoop out all of the seeds from inside the pumpkin.
- 2). Draw the outline of the carriage door and windows onto the pumpkin with a permanent marker.
- 3). Cut out the windows and doors using a carving tool. Cut carefully so that you don't damage the pumpkin.
- 4). Paint the pumpkin white, if desired. Allow the paint to dry for two hours. Embellish the carriage with gold glitter glue. Allow the glue to dry for at least two hours.
- 5). Cut two pieces of wire each about 30 inches long. Twist both ends of the wire into a spiral shape to mimic the spiral wheels on a pumpkin carriage.
- 6). Place the pumpkin on top of the carriage wheels.
- 7). Place the horses in front of the pumpkin. Cut pieces of craft wire to attach the horses to the front of the carriage.
