- 1). Roll the red polymer clay into two balls the size of peas for the ladybug bodies. Place the balls on the cookie sheet and press them slightly.
- 2). Roll the black clay into 20 tiny balls that are half the size of rice kernels for ladybug spots. Press 10 spots on each ladybug body firmly to flatten the tiny balls into spots .
- 3). Roll the black clay into a ball that is 1/3 the size of the pea-sized ball. Press the black ball on the front top of the ladybug body ball for a head. Roll four tiny half-rice-kernel-sized red balls for ladybug eyes and press them on the top of the black balls to flatten them.
- 4). Insert a toothpick near the back end of each ladybug body and remove.
- 5). Bake the clay ladybugs in an oven at 175 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes, remove the cookie tray from the oven and cool the clay for 10 minutes.
- 6). Open jump rings with the needle nose pliers and insert the ends of the rings in the holes made with the toothpicks. Close the jump ring with the pliers and slide the ring over the end of the earring wire.
- 1). Roll the green clay into two balls the size of peas. Press the pea-sized balls with your fingers and shape the clay into long, fish-shaped ovals that have points on one end.
- 2). Roll three rice-kernel-sized balls and press them into triangles for fish fins on each fish. Press the fins on either side of the fish and at the bottom of the fish.
- 3). Poke a toothpick through the heads of the fish. Bake the fish in at 175 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes and cool for 10 minutes.
- 4). Insert the jump rings in the toothpick holes and slide the rings over the earring wires.
