How to Troubleshoot Readiris 12 on Vista

    • 1). Check the program's system requirements on the back of the software package. Go to your PC desktop.

    • 2). Click "Start" and right-click "Computer." Select "Properties." Look under the "System" section to ensure that the PC meets the Readiris' system requirements.

    • 3). Click "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and then "Programs and Features."

    • 4). Select "Readiris 12" and click "Uninstall." Click "Continue" if the User Account Control Prompt appears.

    • 5). Click "Next" to begin the removal process. Restart the PC once the process finishes.

    • 6). Place the Readiris 12 CD into the PC. Click "Run" or "Setup" once the setup wizard appears.

    • 7). Click "Next" at the prompts to complete the installation. Save Readiris under the "Program Files" folder. Click "Finish" at the last prompt to launch Readiris.
