- 1). Insert the Window Vista installation disc into your CD drive.
- 2). Restart your computer by clicking on the "Start" button, then clicking the "Restart" button.
- 3). Press any key to start Windows from the installation disc, if prompted.
- 4). Choose the language settings on the screen, then click the "Next" button.
- 5). Click the "Repair your computer" button.
- 6). Select the operating system to be repaired once the program has finished scanning the hard drive. Click the "Next" button.
- 7). Select the "Startup Repair" option if any problems occur during startup. Otherwise, click the "System Restore" option to restore the computer's system files to an earlier point in time.
