For uninstall instructions, you must contact the manufacturer of your particular products.

    • 3). Locate and then click on the "Browse this CD" option. Look for, find the "Setup.exe" option, and click on it.

    • 4). Read the instructions carefully that appears on screen and make sure you follow them precisely until the setup process completes. When prompted, reboot your computer and wait for Windows to load and then confirm the installation process. Once confirmed, eject the Microsoft Windows Installation disk from your computer.

    • 5). Visit the Windows update site and reinstall all Windows 98 update files for your computer. Failing to do so will result in security issues and in some cases compatibility issues with newer software programs. When you visit the site, Windows will automatically check you system to determine what update you need. Simply confirm by clicking on the "OK" button when prompted to download an update.
