- 1). Click "Start" then "My Computer."
- 2). Double-click the hard drive icon (usually labeled "C:\") then double-click "System."
- 3). Delete "HPPROPTY.EXE" Right-click the file name and select "Delete." A dialog box will appear. Click "OK."
- 4). Restart the computer.
