How to Make a Newsletter an e-Newsletter

    • 1). Place your newsletter onto the scanning bed of your printer with the newsletter's cover facing down.

    • 2). Launch Microsoft Paint on your computer. Click on the "Start" button in your taskbar, and then type "Paint" into the Start menu's search box. Click on the "Paint" icon when it appears in the Start menu.

    • 3). Scan the cover of your newsletter into Paint. Click on the blue "Paint" button, and then select the "From Scanner or camera" option from the context menu that appears. Save your scan to an empty folder on your computer.

    • 4). Scan each of the other pages in your newsletter. Place each page face down on the scanner, and then return to Paint's "From Scanner or camera" option.

    • 5). Download a free copy of an image to PDF convert, like "Batch Image To PDF" or "Image2PDF," that supports batch image conversion (see Resources).

    • 6). Launch the converter. Specify a "Source," the folder that contains your newsletter scans, and "Destination" folder. Click on the application's "Start" or "Convert" button to begin converting your newsletter scans into a PDF file.

    • 7). Log into your email account and compose a new email. Use your email account's "Attachment" function to import your PDF newsletter and attach it to your emails.

    • 8). Add your newsletter's recipients to your email. Introduce your newsletter in your email's subject line and body, and then send out your newsletter.
