- 1). Log on to Windows using an administrator account. Click the Windows "Start" button, type "Edit Group Policy" in the search box and press "Enter."
- 2). Double-click "User Configuration" in the right pane; then double-click "Administrative Templates," "Windows Components" and "Windows Explorer."
- 3). Right-click the "Turn Off Windows + X Hotkeys" setting, and select "Edit." Click "Disabled," "Apply" and "OK" at the bottom of the window. This enables the Windows hotkeys.
