- 1). Open Revit and your Revit project file. Select the wall where you would like to add the molding.
- 2). Click the "Home" tab. Under the "Build" panel, select the "Wall" drop-down and click on "Wall Sweep."
- 3). Select the type of molding you would like to use for the wall sweep in "Type Selector" near the top of the "Properties" palette.
- 4). Click "Modify," "Place Wall Sweep" and select whether the molding will be placed horizontally or vertically in the "Placement" panel.
- 5). Move the cursor and click to the location of the wall where you would like to place the molding. A ghosted image of the molding will follow the cursor as you decide where to place the wall sweep. Repeat this on each of the walls in the model where you would like to place the molding.
- 6). Click "Modify" and "Finish" to complete the molding with the "Wall Sweep" tool.
