- 1). Click on the "Start" button from the Windows XP desktop and then click on the "Search" option.
- 2). Click on the "All files and folders" option from the Search Companion dialog box. Enter "%Windir%\system32\WgaLogon.dll" into the "Search" field and press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.
- 3). Right-click on the file name you entered once it's found and then click on the "Rename" option. Enter "%Windir%\system32\WgaLogon.old" into the "Name" field and then click on the "OK" button.
- 4). Enter "%Windir%\system32\WgaTray.exe" into the "Search" field and then press the "Enter" key. Right-click on the file and then click on the "Rename" option.
- 5). Enter "%Windir%\system32\WgaTray.old" into the "Name" field and then click on the "OK" button. Close out the Search Companion dialog box and then restart your computer.
