- 1). Dip a corner of your paper towel or thin cloth into water. Allow the water to lightly dampen the paper towel or cloth entirely. Wring excess moisture out of the cloth or paper towel if it gets too wet.
- 2). Drape the paper towel or cloth over the cue stick's dent.
- 3). Preheat your steam clothing iron to medium-high heat.
- 4). Gently press the iron on top of the paper towel or cloth-covered dent for 5 seconds. Repeat this process two or three times if necessary. The steam from the iron and paper towel or cloth will seep into the dent and push it outward, restoring the cue stick's original state.
- 5). Allow the cue to dry completely before use.
