How to Pass Microsoft Genuine Validation

    • 1). Validate your copy of Windows. Click "Validate Windows" or "Validate Office," located in the Genuine Microsoft Software section of the Microsoft website (see Resources.)

    • 2). Download and install the ActiveX control for the computerized validation process.

    • 3). Continue with whatever task needed validation if your computer passes validation.

    • 4). Reinstall or change the product key to the correct version if validation failed (see Warnings).

    • 5). Reduce the number of installations (see Tips).

    • 6). Purchase an electronic license key for the product to make it a genuine. Download the Windows Product Key Update Tool. Click the link in the email notification you receive after purchase. Allow it to guide you through the conversion process.
