- 1). Unlock the taskbar. Right-click the taskbar and deselect "Lock the Taskbar" if the item is checked. If not checked, the taskbar is already unlocked.
- 2). Customize the taskbar. Drag the desired applications to the taskbar to pin them in place. Right-click an already pinned application and select "Delete" to remove it. Drag the taskbar to any of the screen's edges to relocate it.
- 3). Lock the taskbar. Right-click the taskbar and select "Lock the Taskbar." The taskbar is now locked and the custom changes are now the default.
