- 1). Trace your letters onto the craft foam of your choice using the stencils and the pencil. You can also use sticky-backed craft foam if you want to adhere the letters to a poster board or other medium. Other options instead of stencils involve tracing letters from a coloring book, using a computer font or creating your own letters.
- 2). Adhere the letters to cardboard for durability if you like.
- 3). Cut out your letters with the scissors or craft knife. Cut out the cardboard at this time, either separately or with the foam. Take your time during this process. Some letters have tiny spaces that work best when cut out with a craft knife.
- 4). Decorate your alphabet as desired. Sprinkle glitter glue on top. Add more craft foam, paint or stickers.
