- 1). Cut a piece of ribbon that is about two feet long, using your scissors.
- 2). Fold your ribbon in half width-wise, with the pretty side of the ribbon facing in. Sew a narrow seam along both long edges.
- 3). Put the tip of your dowel or the eraser end of your pencil in the fold, and push to turn the ribbon tube right-side out.
- 4). Press the ribbon tube flat with your iron.
- 5). Cut a piece of beaded trim that is just wide enough to fit inside the short end of your ribbon tube. Fold the raw edge of your tube in by .25 inches and tuck the non-beaded edge of your trim into the ribbon so that the beads will dangle out of the end. Sew along the edge, sewing the trim in place.
