- 1). Measure and cut an 18-inch strip from each length of fleece. Trim each strip into an 18-inch square.
- 2). Hold the right sides of the squares together. The print should be facing inward and in its intended directional position. Sew three sides of the squares together on a sewing machine, following a 1/2-inch seam allowance. Leave the bottom edge open.
- 3). Turn the square inside out so that the print faces outward. Fold the unsewn edges inward 1/2 inch and sew them closed.
- 4). Center the sewn square at the middle of the top of one of the large lengths of fleece. The print on the fleece should be facing outward and in its intended directional position. Sew the square in place, leaving the finished bottom end open to make the pillow pocket.
- 5). Hold the large lengths of fleece together with the right sides facing each other. The print should be on the inside and correctly positioned. Sew three of the sides together with a 1/2-inch seam allowance. Leave the bottom edge open.
- 6). Turn the quillow inside out so that the print faces outward. Fold in the unsewn edges inward 1/2 inch and sew them closed.
