- 1). Lift the stopper out of the drain along with the rocker arm.
- 2). Check to see that the seal is undamaged and securely against the stopper.
- 3). Clean off any debris from the seal such as hair, body wash, shampoo or conditioner residue.
- 4). Adjust the nut on the underside of the seal with a wrench in order to shorten or lengthen the connection to the rocker arm as needed.
- 5). Put the rocker arm and stopper back down into the drain hole. Make sure the flange is tightly seated.
