- 1). Pretreat stains before washing by pouring a small amount of peroxide directly on the stain. Rub the peroxide in and allow the garment to sit for one minute. Rinse the garment in cold water.
- 2). Fill the washing machine with water. Refer to your clothing labels to determine the proper temperature. Keep in mind that using hot water will combine the power of peroxide with the germ-killing properties of hot water.
- 3). Add 1 cup of peroxide to a full tub of water.
- 4). Add clothing and allow the machine to run its full cycle.
