- 1). Allow the correction fluid to dry completely. Trying to remove it while it is wet will only spread it.
- 2). Scratch as much of the correction fluid as possible out of your hair using your fingernails.
- 3). Brush your hair thoroughly to remove any correction fluid residue that remains in your hair.
- 4). Wash your hair in the hottest water you can stand using your regular shampoo. You may have to repeat this if there is a lot of correction fluid in your hair.
