- 1). Fill a small container with white vinegar and place it on the stove while preparing foods with strong odors.
- 2). Wash dishes, especially pots and pans, soon after completing a meal. This gets rid of grease and other cooking residues that harbor unpleasant food smells.
- 3). Fill a pot with 2 cups of water, the peel from an orange and 1 tsp. of cinnamon.
- 4). Bring the mixture to a boil and remove it from the heat. Allow it to sit on the stove uncovered until unpleasant cooking smells are eliminated.
- 5). Pour 1 cup of water and 3 tbsp. of white vinegar into a pot.
- 6). Bring the vinegar and water to a boil and allow it to continue for approximately five minutes to eliminate stubborn cooking smells.
