- 1). Open the drain valve and drain all liquid from the tank into a large storage container. Locate and use the washout valve near the base of the tank on permanent storage tanks instead of the outlet valve.
- 2). Mix 1 part dish washing liquid to 10 parts hot water in a large container to clean the tank. Pour the cleaning mixture into the water jet tank and connect the water jet to a power source.
- 3). Turn on the water jet and spray all sides of the tank to clean. Beware that water jets use high amounts of pressure and may be difficult for some individuals to manage.
- 4). Turn off the water tank and open the drain valve to drain the remainder of the cleaning mixture from the tank. Close the drain valve and fill the tank with clean water.
- 5). Spray the inside of the tank with clean water. When finished, turn off the water jets and unplug from the power supply.
