- 1). Throw your muslin fabric in the washing machine for a quick wash. Dry the fabric and spread it out on the floor.
- 2). Trim the ends so that they are straight. Use your ruler to make guiding marks with a pencil. Cut the fabric and be exact. Use the fusible tape and run it along the cut edges.
- 3). Fold the fabric over and create a sharp edge. Use your ironing board to iron the fabric along the edges where you've inserted the tape. The ironed muslin fabric creates a strong bond so that you don't have to sew anything.
- 4). Toss your ironed, newly created backdrop fabric over a backdrop pole and use when needed.
