- 1). Warm the inside of the dryer by running it on a regular drying cycle for about five minutes. The heat aids in the ink stain removal process.
- 2). Dampen a clean, old cloth with rubbing alcohol. Rub the alcohol into the ink stain inside the dryer. Move to a clean portion of the cloth as the ink begins to transfer from the dryer to the cloth.

Add more rubbing alcohol to the cloth and tackle large or stubborn ink stains inside the dryer. Buff until all the ink is removed. Wipe area with a damp cloth and let dry completely. - 4). Spray all-purpose cleaner on a clean cloth--not inside the dryer drum--and wipe to clean any remaining ink out of the dryer. The website Appliance Outlet warns that spraying the cleaner into the dryer may allow some of the cleaner to seep into the inner workings of the dryer. Wipe away the cleaner with more clean, damp cloths. Let dry completely with the door open for at least five hours, because the cleaner's fumes may be flammable.
