- 1). Apply a few drops of a grease-cutting dishwashing liquid to a damp Magic Eraser.
- 2). Scrub the soap scrum with the eraser. Work in small sections at a time.
- 3). Rinse the residue from the shower with cool water. Wipe the shower tile dry with clean towels.
- 1). Sprinkle borax onto a wet sponge.
- 2). Scrub shower tile with the sponge in a circular motion.
- 3). Rinse the tiles with hot water and wipe them dry with a towel.
- 1). Apply a degreasing agent to the tiles after a shower.
- 2). Allow the degreasing agent to sit on the tiles for 15 minutes.
- 3). Scrub the tiles with a scrub brush.
- 4). Rinse the tiles with cool water.
- 5). Repeat the process several times until the soap scum is gone.
- 1). Mix together 1/3 cup of ammonia, 1/2 cup of baking soda, 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 6 cups of water.
- 2). Pour the solution into a clean spray bottle.
- 3). Spray the tiles with the solution. Allow the solution to sit for five minutes.
- 4). Wipe the tiles with a sponge to remove the soap scum. Do not rinse.
