- 1). Drain all standing water. It may help to use a plunger to loosen up the clog if the standing water just won't move.
- 2). Sprinkle a 1/2-cup of baking soda into your clogged drain. Wait just a few minutes for the baking soda to settle.
- 3). Add about 1/2-cup of vinegar to your drain. It will foam up when it contacts the baking soda. After foaming, let it sit for about 30 minutes to be sure it has worked all its magic.
- 4). Let your tap run on warm on hot for five or so minutes afterwords to be sure all of the clog is washed away.
