- 1). Soak a clean cloth in white vinegar. Soak several cloths if the white hard water stains are extensive.
- 2). Lay the cloth over the white stains on your sink. Leave the cloths on the stains overnight.
- 3). Rinse the area in the morning with clear water. Rub with a clean, dry cloth until the stainless steel is completely dry. This will prevent watermarks from developing.
- 4). Mix a paste of 1 tbsp. of baking soda and a few drops of water if the hard water marks are still visible. The baking soda will act as a mild abrasive and should remove the hard water stains.
- 5). Use the corner of a clean, damp cloth to rub the baking soda paste into the stains.
- 6). Rinse the area with clear water and rub with a clean, dry cloth until the stainless steel is completely dry.
