- 1). Clean off the area where the nail is glued in with the Super Glue. Wipe it down with a clean rag and remove any dirt or other debris. Dampen the rag, if necessary and wipe down the nail and Super Glue until there is no dirt or other grease remaining.
- 2). Pour a small amount of acetone onto a cotton swab and rub it gently on the Super Glue. Move in a circular motion over all of the Super Glue until it begins to loosen and come off. Continue in the same manner all the way around the surface until it loosens up.
- 3). Scrape off all of the excess Super Glue with a utility knife. Run the knife gently over the loose Super Glue and pull it up by hand. Wipe down the area with a clean rag and inspect the nail, looking for any Super Glue that is still stuck.
- 4). Dip a Q-tip into the acetone and wipe the acetone over the harder to reach places with the Q-tip. Add more acetone to the Q-tip when necessary and continue wiping down the Super Glue until all of it is loose over the nail. Pull out the nail by hand. Grip it and pull it from the remaining Super Glue.
- 5). Clean off the surface where the nail was located and repeat the process for any other nails that are attached with Super Glue.
