Marble Slab Polishing Machines

    Hand-Held Wet Polisher

    • For small in-house marble slab polishing jobs, such as a kitchen counter, or even a marble tombstone, you need a hand-held wet polisher machine to keep your marble looking good after it has been installed. Hand-held polishers help homeowners and professional marble finishers remove scratches. They can contain more than one handle, so you can drill or polish flat surfaces with one, while edge profiling with another. In addition, some machines, such as the AWP-158, offer users a built-in Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI), to help prevent potential safety issues. And they can come with a built-in water feed in the center of the tool -- along with water supply, making it safer and easier to continue polishing without stopping due to water issues.

    Floor Hand-Held Polisher

    • Your interior home floors don't need a high-powered, heavy-duty marble polishing machine. Use a 17- to 20-inch model with approximately 175 rpm pad speed. You can get the job done with this lower-cost tool. The 1.5 horsepower motor will be sufficient for marble floor polishing in the home. Be sure the polisher has a wrap around bumper guard to protect your wall baseboards and other items that could be damaged from the machine.

    Heavy-Duty Polisher

    • Marble flooring slabs already installed in heavy-traffic commercial settings require a marble polisher that is more heavy-duty than the residential polishing machine. Commercial polishers for use after installation include polishers that allow a rider to sit and control the direction and actions as the machine polishes the flooring. Electricity, battery or gas can power these ride-along polishers.

    Polishing Line

    • Mass honing, grinding and polishing of marble slab products for installation in commercial and residential settings is completed with large-scale marble slab polishing machinery. These machines are similar to an assembly line process. Hence, the machine name title: Marble slab polishing line. Marble slab polishing machines can be computer controlled or manually operated. They provide the marble stone slabs with their first polishing prior to installation.
