- 1). Attach the fishing line to the Mamba Jig by tying a Palomar knot to the eye on the head of the jig.
- 2). Hold the jig upside down so the rubber and silicone skirt falls over the head of the jig and exposes the hook.
- 3). Attach a trailer to the jig. Pork or plastic chunks work well; thread them onto the hook so the tails point downward and the flat side faces toward the back of the jig. Plastic grubs and crayfish work well, too. Slide the point of the hook into the middle of the plastic head, then thread the bait up the shank of the hook. Push the hook point out of the plastic, which should ride straight on the jig.
