During the heat of a moment people tend to do and say things they don't mean.
A good example is break ups.
Most occur during an argument when things get heated up.
These kinds of break ups usually end up with the couple, getting back together only to break up again during the next heated argument.
To avoid or break this cycle, follow these four steps to start with, and understand it will take hard work and commitment on both your parts.
1.
The first thing that needs to be done is to figure out what and why the break ups keep occurring.
Many times it is just a matter of a lot of little things that accumulate until they build to the boiling point, and then they end up boiling over.
So, don't dismiss the little things, instead resolve them, then put them behind you.
The larger things will take more work but should be resolved and put behind you just as the little things.
2.
Next you will need to get the excitement back.
If you have been in the relationship for any length of time, you most likely got very relaxed in the relationship and stopped doing all those little things for your ex that use to make them happy.
Start doing them again and this time, do not stop, and you may want to consider doing bigger things that will please your ex as well.
3.
A lot of relationships end because of a power struggle within the relationship, one of the two of you tends to hold more power than the other.
This usually results in the end of the relationship.
Two people involved in a relationship should be equals, actually, have to be equals in order for the relationship to survive and be strong.
So, if you have not been treating your partner as an equal now would be a good time to start.
