- 1). Vacuum the floor with either a vacuum cleaner or ShopVac. Use the ShopVac if you have heavy debris on the floor such as loose nails, wood chunks or similar items.
- 2). Pour 1 gallon warm water, 2 cups rubbing alcohol and 1 tsp. dish soap into a bucket. The alcohol is a natural anti-freeze that prevents the cleaner from freezing on the garage floor.
- 3). Dip your mop in the bucket and squeeze out the mop.
- 4). Wipe the mop over your garage floor, and let it air dry. The alcohol disinfects, cleans and dries free of residue.
