Another possible solution when using mechanical anchors if you want to prevent holes and cracks is to stay away from the edges. While mechanical anchors are much easier to install they are also easily affected by rust.

Adhesive anchors are more durable, but technically harder to install. Also the process is more expensive. Otherwise, you don't have to explore the strength of your surface when using adhesive anchors as they are applicable to low strength materials. In aim to install this type of anchor firstly you need to drill a hole. Once the hole is prepared you will fill it with your adhesive material. At this stage it is very significant that you clean the hole from dust, otherwise the dirt may cause problems by reducing the effectiveness of the adhesive. This process is much more secure and affordable, thus the adhesive allows more weight to be allocated throughout the entire surface instead of placing it all at one tip. Although it is more costly to perform, adhesive anchors are more durable in practice under high temperatures, reducing the cracks to the surface.
