- 1). Soak some rags with water and stuff them into the overflow drain.
- 2). Remove any drain traps from the drain.
- 3). Seal the mouth of the plunger over the mouth of the drain and plunge it up and down quickly several times. The suction will dislodge the clog and allow it to be drained away.
- 4). Repeat step 3 until drain is clear.
- 1). Bail out the tub as much as possible using a bucket.
- 2). Remove any drain traps from the drain.
- 3). Unbend a wire coat hanger, leaving the hook intact.
- 4). Thread the hook down the drain, twisting it and turning it to hook the clog.
- 5). Pull the hook back up when you can feel the hook latching on to something solid.
