How to Make a DLL Icon Library

1). Go to the Software Lib website and download the DLL to Lib program. Accept the defaults.
2). Launch the program. In the Convert tab, add the DLL file to convert. This is in the Dynamic Link Library Parameters. You can browse to the location on your hard drive.
3). Still in the Convert tab, go to the Output Static Library File and enter the name and location of the file that will be the library file.
4). In the "Advanced Conversion Options" tap "Add Symbol," which is your icon for the library.

Go back to the Convert tab and click "Start Convert."

When the conversion process is complete, you will have a distributable library file.
