- 1). Right-click the desktop and click "Personalize." As an alternative, click the "Start" button, click "Control Panel," click "Appearance and Personalization" and then click "Personalization."
- 2). Click "Screen saver" to enter the screen saver properties. If your screen saver is set to require a password, the "On resume, require logon" box will be checked.
- 3). Click "On resume, require logon" to uncheck the box and disable the login prompt.
- 4). Click "Apply" and then click "OK" to close the screen saver window.
