- 1). Open the Start menu. Click "All Programs," open the "LastPass" folder and select the "LastPass Importer" icon. If you have a Web browser running, click the "Close Programs" button to continue.
- 2). Click the "I already have a LastPass account" radio button.
- 3). Type your LastPass email address and password, and then click "Next."
- 4). Click the "Yes, let me choose which items I want imported into LastPass" radio button if you want to import any saved passwords from your Web browser's built-in password manager, or click "No, do not import any of my insecure items" to import your passwords from LastPass only. Click "Next." If you have any passwords stored in other password managers, follow the prompts to import them into LastPass.
- 5). Click a radio button under "When I Close My Browser" to indicate whether LastPass should log you out automatically when you close your browser window. You should have LastPass log you out if you share your computer with another person.
- 6). Click "Done" to begin using your LastPass passwords on the new computer.
