- 1). Boot up or restart the computer.
- 2). Press the BIOS access key when the boot screen appears. Typically, the BIOS access key is the "F2" key, but some systems use a different keyboard command. Find a list of BIOS keyboard commands for different motherboard manufacturers on Compu-Help.us. After pressing the correct key, the system will enter the BIOS configuration screen.
- 3). Highlight the "Integrated Devices" option using the keyboard's directional keys and then press the "Enter" key.
- 4). Highlight "USB Emulation" and then press the "Enter" key.
- 5). Press the "Left arrow" key to switch USB emulation to "On."
- 6). Press the "Escape" key to revert to the main BIOS screen.
- 7). Highlight the "Save Changes and Exit" option at the bottom of the screen and then press the "Enter" key.
- 8). Select "Yes" at the confirmation prompt and then press the "Enter" key. The system will restart with USB emulation enabled.
