Replace Hinge

• 1). Open the cabinet door. Loosen the retaining screws on the hinge arm from the cabinet door with a Phillips screwdriver. Pull the cabinet door away from the cabinet. Remove the screws that secure the hinge to the edge of the cabinet door with the screwdriver. Lift the hinge straight up from the cabinet door and remove it. Repeat for the remaining hinge or hinges.
  
  
• 2). Remove the retaining screws from the hinge clips on the inside cabinet edge with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the clips from the cabinet.
  
  
• 3). Position the replacement hinges onto the cabinet door using the mounting holes from the original hinges. Ensure that the large circular portion of the hinge is fully seated in the large hole on the inside face of the cabinet door, that the hinge arm is facing outwards and that the mounting screw holes in the hinge line up with the screw holes in the door. Enlarge the large mounting hole in the cabinet door to accept the replacement hinge by boring it out with a forstner bit inserted into a power drill, if necessary. Use a forstner bit -- which is used to make precise holes with a flat bottom -- that is the same diameter as the large circular portion of the hinge.
  
  
• 4). Secure the hinge to the door with the hinge retaining screws, using a Phillips screwdriver.
  
  
• 5). Secure the replacement hinge clip to the inside cabinet edge in the original mounting holes, and secure the clip by inserting screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
  
  
• 6). Hang the hinge arms on the cabinet door to the clips on the cabinet, and tighten the screws.
  
  

Adjust Hinge

• 1). Adjust the height of the door by loosening the adjustment screw on each hinge clip with a Phillips screwdriver and moving the hinge arms up or down as desired. Tighten the hinge clip screws.
  
  
• 2). Adjust the side-to-side movement of the door by using a Phillips screwdriver to turn the inboard adjustment screw on each hinge arm in the direction desired.
  
  
• 3). Adjust the door inward or outward from the face of the cabinet by using a Phillips screwdriver to turn the outboard adjustment screw on each hinge arm in the direction desired.
