- 1). Turn the jets on the Jacuzzi tub so there is no air induction.
- 2). Fill the bathtub with warm water. The water level should be 2 inches above the highest jet.
- 3). Add 2 1/2 cups of bleach and 2 tsp. powder dishwasher detergent to the tub water.
- 4). Run the jets for 5 to 10 minutes, so the water enters and cleans the jets. Drain the water when completed.
- 1). Combine warm water and a couple squirts of liquid dishwashing detergent in a bucket.
- 2). Dip a cloth or sponge in the mixture. Rub the mixture into the tub surface to clean it.
- 3). Rinse the tub with cool water to remove soap residue.
- 4). Wipe the tub down with a dry towel to prevent mildew, soap scum and water spotting.
- 1). Place a small amount of a soft bathroom scrubbing gel or cream on a soft cloth. Do not use an abrasive product, as it can scratch the fiberglass.
- 2). Rub the cloth into the bathtub, cleaning it in a circular motion.
- 3). Use a damp, soft cloth to wipe down the tub and remove all cleaning residue.
- 4). Wipe the tub down with a dry towel to prevent mildew, soap scum and water spotting.
